Microsoft Office 365 - Create & Get Work Done

Welcome to Microsoft 365

Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365) is Capilano University’s primary productivity platform. It provides a set of tools that help you create documents, manage email and calendars, and complete your day‑to‑day work efficiently from anywhere.

Instead of relying on separate tools for email and documents, Microsoft 365 brings core productivity applications together in one connected environment. Whether you are working independently or sharing documents with others, Microsoft 365 helps you stay organized, work more efficiently, and keep your information secure.

Most Microsoft 365 tools are designed to be intuitive and easy to use — no technical background is required. You can access your work using a web browser, desktop applications, or mobile devices.

The standard license provisioned to employees is A5; for a comprehensive list of available software under the A5 license, please visit the following link: Microsoft 365 Education - Service Descriptions | Microsoft Learn

With Microsoft 365, you can

  • Send and receive email using Outlook
  • Manage your calendar and schedule meetings
  • Create and edit documents using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Work across web, desktop, and mobile applications
  • Stay productive from on campus or remotely
